Chiropractor Lucy Thomas, MChiro

 

Lucy completed four years at the A n g l o – E u r o p e a n C o l l e g e o f Chiropractic in Bournemouth to achieve a Masters in Chiropractic with first class honours. Lucy has been working in her hometown of Stroud for 5 years since graduating in 2017. Throughout her time at university she enjoyed treating a wide range of patients whilst undertaking further studies in myofascial dry needling, kinesio-taping and paediatric techniques. Since a young age, Lucy has had a keen interest in sport and now enjoys road cycling and taking part in triathlon events.

Lucy has an interest in treating paediatric patients and has been privileged to work with a pioneering team of midwives and Chiropractors to support mothers and babies who are having issues with breastfeeding. She enjoys working with both adults and children to improve function and has experience in managing a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. Lucy is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).

I suffer from a stiff neck and shoulder pain mainly because of years sitting at a computer and not moving my body as it’s meant to move; also there is an age issue here (58). The stiffness and some of the pain has already been taken away after only 2 sessions. Staff are attentive and help me to feel comfortable and at ease with the process.

I would just like to say the help and caring treatment I had from Claire enabled me to get through a very difficult time. In particular her techniques for guiding me through a very distressing cardiac stress MRI scan which I was dreading as I am very claustrophobic.
